On dogs

A lot has been said and it still isn’t enough. I love their enthusiasm when they greet you even if you had stepped out only for a few moments. Their eyes speak, they smile and they know when to lick away the tears from your face. I believe many a sorrowful face has cheered up when buried in the furry necks of their canine friend. The world would definitely be a lot less friendly place without dogs.

On marriage

I think the institution of marriage was created to make us better people. There’s someone to keep watch over you, lest you slip. There’s someone to love you no matter how dark the sky is. There’s someone to hug you all night. There’s a warm rebuke when you cross the limits, a tender hug when you feel the world crumbling around you and so much more! I think it’s God’s secret way of pampering you!

On hatred

I believe no one deserves to be hated. Every human being, whether they are aware of it or not, is made in the image of God.

God and people

The people of the world can be divided into two groups – those who have experienced the love of God and those who will, one day. Of course, there will also be the few who will actively reject it and I would like to believe they fall into the latter category.

On friendship

The ties of friendship appear delicate but at the same time, they have the strength to stand through time, storms and scores of anniversaries!

My freedom ends where another’s begins.

On hope

Hope keeps us alive. The moment we lose hope, a part of us dies.

On smiling

I have found it is the most beautiful adornment a person can wear.

The fires of doubt serve to purify faith and strengthen our conviction.

On violence

There is a lot of truth in the age-old adage drawn from the Bible: He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.

Matthew 26: 47 – 52

On love

The power of love is awesome – it can heal, cure, cause to blossom, span chasms, and make the world a better place.

On unfairness

Some of us wonder why those who lie and cheat get away with it and are successful too. I’ve found refuge in

The Parable of the Weeds (Matthew 13:24-30)

He told another story. "God's kingdom is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field. That night, while his hired men were asleep, his enemy sowed thistles all through the wheat and slipped away before dawn. When the first green shoots appeared and the grain began to form, the thistles showed up, too.

"The farmhands came to the farmer and said, 'Master, that was clean seed you planted, wasn't it? Where did these thistles come from?'

"He answered, 'Some enemy did this.'

"The farmhands asked, 'Should we weed out the thistles?'

"He said, 'No, if you weed the thistles, you'll pull up the wheat, too. Let them grow together until harvest time. Then I'll instruct the harvesters to pull up the thistles and tie them in bundles for the fire, then gather the wheat and put it in the barn.'"

On the moon

The moon, as a crescent or as a whole, is simply beautiful. I think moonbeams carry a secret charm to bring hope to the weary, joy to lovers, happiness to the young at heart.

On babies

I love their clear eyes, their tiny little fingers and toes, their smile. I love it when they wrap their fingers around my finger.

On getting back

I’ve found that it brings no joy to anyone, at all. The thoughts of revenge seem nice, but after the deed is done, you feel awful too!
