There is a hidden power in sharing. It breaks the stranglehold of selfishness and releases us to greater liberty.

There is a lot to be learned in the art of being patient. The school is tough and there are many instructors. A blossom, a child, the seasons – they are all waiting to teach us.

On friendships

I have found that some friendships survive through our busy lives even when we do not keep in touch or send a birthday card. It’s just there. And I wonder if its one of those relationships that’s simply ‘meant to be’ no matter what?

On beauty

Lord, grant me the divine beauty that does not fade with time, does not cease when my face is ravaged by fire or scarred by thorns. A beauty that glows with hardships, that is enhanced with maturity and that can be passed on to others too.
